Dámh Imeall: (h)Edge School

Dámh Imeall: (h)Edge School

This inaugural Hedge School invites you to step off of the highway of our modern world and immerse yourself in poetry, song, and story from Ireland, a source that is deeper, quieter and truer to identity and ancestry. Learn more about Nóirín's life and artform and her home and prayer life beside Glenstal Abbey.

We include teaching notes containing references of material covered for each video and there is touching feedback from some participants in the final session.

Mícheál shares some of his poetry from his collection 'Early Music' and we dive into ideas around Celtic Spirituality, interfaith themes and Irish mythology. We also share stories of our family life and how all three of us followed the artform and our own spirituality up to now.

This is the first course we ever recorded together and there are 5 vibrant sessions included here. Come on this journey of discovery and get to know us and how we came to found (h)Edge School...
